A little bit about Mark
Mark Huebner, LMT, Death Doula
Mark has long been a student of the natural world, ecology, and dynamic interconnected systems. His intrigue for living structures, including the human body, led him through courses in wilderness emergency medicine and the doors of Prescott College where he studied deep ecology and eco-psychology. He finished his Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Education in 2008 and continues to use the lens of deep interconnectedness as one of the fundamental aspects of his healing work today.
Mark’s approach to healing and wellness engages the whole being, body, mind, and spirit to release held stress, encourage balance, and promote lasting homeostasis. Prior to his massage therapy training from the New Mexico School of Massage in Albuquerque, Mark received his 200 RYT in Hatha Yoga from the Satchidananda Ashram in Virginia in 2018. He has also completed the Death Doula training through the International End of Life Doula Association (INELDA) and has been at the side of several family members and friends as they moved towards transition and released their final breath.
Mark considers himself to be a lifelong student and brings with him a diverse background in yogic practices, death and dying, meditation, energy work, and shamanic healing all of which support and inform his daily practices of wellness and service.
